1 Killed in Car Accident on Santa Ana Freeway near 22 Freeway in Orange County
Santa Ana, California (January 4, 2021) – At least one person was killed in a car crash in Santa Ana early Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at about 4:24 a.m. on the southbound Santa Ana (5) Freeway at the Garden Grove (22) Freeway.
A pickup truck was traveling on the roadway when it spun out and crashed into the center divider.
One person was killed in the accident, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
