1 Killed in Car Accident on North Railroad Flat Road near Highway 26 in San Andreas
San Andreas, California (November 6, 2020) – At least one person was killed in a rollover crash that occurred in San Andreas, Calaveras County, on Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened on North Railroad Flat Road near Highway 26 at about 12:55 p.m. November 5.
San Andreas Unit CHP said a Ford F250 pickup veered off the roadway and rolled over landing on its roof.
Emergency crews who responded to the incident found the driver pinned inside the vehicle.
The unidentified driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities closed Railroad Flat Road between Independence Road and Blue Mountain Road to facilitate an investigation.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
