1 Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 101 near Clark Avenue in Orcutt
Orcutt, California (July 16, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Orcutt, Santa Barbara, early Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on northbound Highway 101 near Clark Avenue at about 1 a.m.
A man was walking in the area and was hit by a car in unclear circumstances.
The man sustained critical injuries and was transported to Marian Regional Medical Center where he died while undergoing treatment.
The truck driver was uninjured.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The accident is under investigation.
