El Cajon, California (March 13, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in El Cajon on Friday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. March 12, at South Anza Street and Gray Drive.
The circumstances of the collision were not immediately established.
The El Cajon Police Department said the pedestrian died at the scene of the accident.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
South Anza Street was temporarily closed as the authorities examined the scene.
