One Killed in Solvang Car Accident at Mission Drive and Alamo Pintado

Solvang, California (August 7, 2020) – One person was killed Friday morning in a head-on collision at an intersection in Solvang, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened shortly after 9:00 a.m. at the intersection of Mission Drive and Alamo Pintado.
Authorities said a white sedan collided with a white passenger truck at the Solvang intersection for unknown reasons.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene. The name of the victim has not been diclosed pending notification of family.
The intersection was closed as the authorities investigated the accident.
