Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Car on 15 Freeway near Sierra Avenue in Fontana
Fontana, California (July 25, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Fontana on Friday evening.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened in the southbound side of Ontario (15) Freeway near Sierra Avenue at about 9:45 p.m. July 23.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The pedestrian sustained major injuries and was rushed to Kaiser Permanente Hospital where they died while undergoing treatment.
The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Information about the involved motorist was not immediately provided.
The CHP is investigating the accident.
