1 Killed in Palm Springs Car Crash on Indian Canyon Drive near Garnet Avenue, Joshua Woods Arrested
Palm Springs, California (April 19, 2021) – One person was killed in a suspected DUI car crash in Palm Springs on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 1:20 a.m. on Indian Canyon Drive near Garnet Avenue.
30-year-old Joshua Woods, of Desert Hot Springs, was driving a car on the roadway when he lost control and struck a steel pole.
A passenger in the vehicle was killed in the accident.
Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI and was booked into the Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
