1 Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on Valley Center Road in Valley Center
1 Dies in Valley Center Car Accident on Valley Center Road near Vesper Road Sunday afternoon
Valley Center, California (August 3, 2019) – At least one person was killed Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision in Valley Center, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly accident happened shortly before 4:00 p.m. on Valley Center Road near Vesper Road.
According to the CHP’s incident log, two sedans collided head-on on Valley Center Road.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside their vehicle.
At least one person died in the accident. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
One of the drivers involved was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol.
No further details were immediately provided.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
