Chico, California (May 3, 2019) – One person was killed and two other people were injured Friday evening in a traffic accident in Chico, according to a local news report.
The fatal crash took place at about 4:25 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 at the Eaton Road off-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Hyundai vehicle rear-ended a semi-truck that was stopped.

The female passenger in the front seat of the Hyundai was declared dead at the scene. According to authorities, the male driver and a child in the Hyundai were injured in the crash.
