One Killed, Two Hospitalized after Sacramento County Accident on Highway 160 near Sherman Island
Sacramento County, California (November 9, 2020) – One person was killed and two other people were hospitalized Sunday morning in a head-on crash in Sacramento County, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly accident occurred at around 1:07 a.m. Sunday, October 8, on Highway 160 near Sherman Island.
The number of vehicles involved in the crash, and the events leading up to the accident were not immediately.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and pronounced one person dead at the scene. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of family.
Two other people were transported to local hospitals with unspecified injuries. Their current condition was not disclosed.
No additional information was provided.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
