1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 101 near Rice Avenue in Ventura County
Ventura County, California (May 28, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that happened in Ventura on Thursday morning.
The accident happened at about 4:45 a.m. along the southbound lanes of Highway 101 near Rice Avenue.
A gray Toyota Camry and a second vehicle were involved in the crash. Although the events leading up to the collision were not immediately established, the impact of the crash caused one car to overturn onto its roof.
As per the CHP report, at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
No additional information about the collision was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
