1 Injured in Car Accident on Governor Drive near Mercer Street in San Diego
San Diego, California (April 21, 2021) – A 56-year-old man was injured in a car crash in University City, San Diego, on Tuesday night.
The crash happened on Governor Drive near Mercer Street at about 9:40 p.m. April 20, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man was driving a 1998 Plymouth Voyager van when he lost control and crashed into a 2002 Nissan Maxima sedan that was parked on the street.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No one else was injured in the accident.
