Truck Driver Injured in Rollover Crash on 60 Freeway near Day Street in Moreno Valley
Moreno Valley, California (May 27, 2020) – A semi-truck driver was injured in a collision on Wednesday afternoon in Moreno Valley.
According to a local news source, the collision occurred at about 1:40 p.m. on Moreno Valley (60) Freeway near the Day Street on-ramp.
The California Highway Patrol said a big rig jackknifed on the freeway and struck a sedan.
The truck is reported to have overturned after the collision.
Semi-Truck Overturns after Crash on 60 Freeway in Moreno Valley
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to Riverside University Medical Center in Moreno Valley for treatment.
The sedan driver was unhurt.
The Day Street on-ramp and one lane of the freeway were closed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
