1 Injured in Hit-and-Run Collision on Highway 101 near Olive Mill Road, Driver Arrested
Montecito, California (June 8, 2020) – A driver was arrested after a series of hit-and-run collisions that left at least one person injured in Montecito on Monday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8 a.m. on Highway 101 near Olive Mill Road.
The authorities said an out-of-control pickup truck crashed into as many as six vehicles on the freeway between Carpinteria to Montecito.
Driver Arrested after Hit-and-Run Collisions in Montecito
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital for treatment.
The truck driver was later tracked and arrested along Jameson Lane.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
