1 Hurt in Pedestrian Accident on Niles Street in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (August 4, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in East Bakersfield on Monday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened in the 2500 block of Niles Street at about 8:45 p.m. August 3.
A pedestrian is reported to have been hit by a black Chevy Silverado.
The unidentified pedestrian suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Information about the Chevy driver was not immediately available.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
