Baldwin Park, California (July 25, 2019) – A person was injured when an aerosol can inside a large roll of paper exploded at a Baldwin Park recycling center Thursday afternoon, according to authorities.
The incident was reported at about 2:12 p.m. in the 14600 block of Joanbridge Street.
Authorities said an employee was cutting a big roll of paper when an aerosol container inside the roll exploded.

The worker sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not immediately disclosed.
Joanbridge Street was closed as police investigated the incident.
