One Person Injured in Fontana Rollover Crash at Citrus Avenue and Casa Grande Avenue

Fontana, California (April 29, 2019) – A person was injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident in the northern area of Fontana, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, April 27 at the intersection of Citrus Avenue and Casa Grande Avenue.
As per the report, Witnesses said a red Chevy Blazer was heading eastbound on Casa Grande when it stopped at the red light and tried to cross Citrus Avenue. For an unknown reason, the Blazer was then broadsided by a beige Subaru SUV that was heading northbound on Citrus Avenue.

The force of the impact caused one of the vehicles involved to roll over and trapped its female driver. The victim was extricated by firefighters and took her to a nearby hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other details were immediately disclosed.
