1 Killed after Plane Crashed into Big Rig in San Pedro, Los Angeles
Los Angeles, California (February 19, 2021) – One person died after a single-engine plane crashed into a vehicle in San Pedro on Friday afternoon.
According to a report by the Los Angeles Fire Department, the deadly collision happened in the 2500 block of South Navy Way at the Port of Los Angeles at about noon.
A plane is reported to have crashed into a semi-truck in unclear circumstances.
Bystanders pulled one person out of the wreckage.
The victim is reported to have suffered major injuries in the accident and was rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
