Susan Palmer ID’d as Woman Killed in Huntington Beach Accident on Gothard Street
Huntington Beach, California (January 3, 2020) – Susan Palmer, 61, of Huntington Beach has been identified as the victim killed in a crash involving an alleged DUI teenage driver on Wednesday night in Huntington Beach.
According to a local news source, the collision happened at about 9:25 p.m. January 1, on Gothard Street near Cedar Avenue.
Investigators said a 2013 Nissan Rogue was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Gothard Street when it was involved in a head-on collision with a southbound 2016 Kia Soul.

Palmer, who was a passenger in the Kia, was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Kia and one other passenger were treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the Nissan, a 17-year-old Westminster boy, was treated for minor injuries and later arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.
