Surkhaab Singh ID’d as 1 of 2 Persons Injured in Sacramento Pedestrian Crash at Luchessi Drive and Harney Way

Sacramento, California (February 9, 2021) – An 8-month-old infant Surkhaab Singh, has been identified as one of the two parties who were injured in a hit-and-run accident on Sunday afternoon in Sacramento, the CHP said.
The pedestrian accident occurred at about 4:30 p.m., on February 7, at Luchessi Drive and Harney Way in the community of Vineyard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Jasleen Kaur, 36, was walking with her infant Singh, in a stroller on Luchessi Drive when a silver or white Honda Odyssey van struck them as they tried to cross Harney Way.
The crash impact knocked the stroller onto its side and ejected the Singh into the street, the officials said.

Both Kaur and Singh were taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment in unknown conditions.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. He was described as a Hispanic man, about 40 or 50 years old with short black hair. The car was described as a 2003-2007 Honda Odyssey with damage to the rear tailgate and right rear bumper, the CHP said.
