Seal Beach, California (September 20, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night in Seal Beach, authorities said.

The deadly accident occurred just after midnight in the 15900 block of Pacific Coast Highway.

According to the police, a gray 2018 Ford Eagle, driven by Elizabeth Landess, 30, of Long Beach, struck the pedestrian in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.

Landess was arrested and booked into Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony driving under the influence.
