Santa Maria, California (November 7, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning multi-vehicle accident that left four people injured in Santa Maria.

The accident happened at about 6:05 a.m., on November 6, in the 2700 block of West Main Street.

As per the police report, three vehicles collided on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Following the collision, one of the vehicles crashed into a ditch off the roadway, the officials said.

First responders arrived at the scene and extricated several victims from the wreckage.

4 Injured in Santa Maria Traffic Accident on West Main Street

Four parties were injured in the accident and were transported to Marian Regional Medical Center for treatment.

More details about the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
