2 Female Pedestrians Killed in San Francisco Crash at Second Street and Mission Street

San Francisco, California (January 1, 2021) – Two female pedestrians from San Francisco were struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday afternoon in the city’s South of Market neighborhood in San Francisco, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 4:00 p.m., at the intersection of Second Street and Mission Street.
According to the police, the pedestrians were struck by a vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
2 Women Hit and Killed by Vehicle at Second and Mission Streets
Sadly, the two women sustained fatal injuries in the accident. One was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other succumbed to her injuries at a hospital.
The involved driver fled the scene on foot but was later located.
