San Francisco, California (December 26, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday afternoon in the area of San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision happened at around 1:53 p.m. Wednesday, December 25, on northbound 280 Freeway, just north of Alemany Boulevard.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person injured in the collision. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately provided.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the cars from the crash site.

Lanes 1 and 4 were blocked following the crash.
