39-Year-Old Man Hurt in San Diego Skateboard Crash on Voltaire Street

San Diego, California (July 31, 2019) – A man was injured in a traffic accident involving a skateboard and a vehicle on Tuesday in San Diego, according to a local news source.
The wreck happened in the 3700 block of Voltaire Street on Tuesday, July 30.
According to the news source, a 39-year-old man was riding a skateboard westbound on Voltaire Street when he ran into the rear of a pickup truck driven by a 51-year-old woman who was trying to turn into a driveway.
The rider was taken to a hospital with a broken femur.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
