Richmond, California (August 16, 2019) – At least one person was hospitalized after a car collision that happened Thursday afternoon in Richmond, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The incident happened at about 5:10 p.m. on eastbound 580 Freeway, just west of Bayview Avenue.
Two vehicles of unknown make and model collided under unclear circumstances.
At least one person was taken to John Muir Medical Center in Richmond with a possibly broken left leg and head trauma.
The vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
