1 Injured in Redwood City Pedestrian Crash on Crystal Springs Road near Skyline Boulevard
Redwood City, California (January 22, 2021) – A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car in Redwood City on Thursday afternoon, January 21.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:30 p.m. on Crystal Springs Road near Skyline Boulevard.
The authorities who responded to the incident found an injured pedestrian down on the roadway. Two other vehicles were stopped at the scene.
The circumstances surrounding the crash, however, were not immediately established.
As per the CHP incident logs, the pedestrian sustained unspecified injuries in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
