Redding Accident at Hartnell and Victor Avenue Kills One Person

Redding, California (February 25, 2021) – A female party was struck and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Redding Wednesday evening, according to a report by the Redding Police Department.
The deadly crash happened at the intersection of Hartnell Avenue and Victor Avenue at approximately 6:50 p.m. February 24.
The woman was hit by a black 2005 Chevy Trailblazer while attempting to cross from the north side to the south side of Hartnell Avenue outside a marked crosswalk.
Fatal Redding Pedestrian Accident
Sadly, the pedestrian died at Mercy Hospital while undergoing treatment.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
