Oildale, California (June 16, 2021) – An Oildale collision involving two vehicles Tuesday afternoon sent one person to the hospital.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the crash site at approximately 5:10 p.m. in the area of Ray Street and McCray Street.

The accident involved a colored blue and burgundy 4-door sedans that crashed at the Oildale intersection for undetermined reasons.

One unidentified person sustained minor injuries and was taken to Adventist Health Bakersfield for medication.

The crash resulted in the closure of the intersection for an unknown time.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
