Man Dies in Manteca Car Accident near Spreckels Avenue and Dupont Court
Manteca, California (July 13, 2019) – A Modesto man was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon in Manteca.
According to the Manteca Police Department, the crash took place shortly after 3:30 p.m. July 12, in the area of Spreckels Avenue and Dupont Court.
Police said several vehicles were involved.
A male driver was trapped in one of the vehicles and had to be extricated by the first responders.

The driver, only identified as a man from Modesto, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second driver, identified as a Manteca male juvenile, was transported to a hospital as a precaution.
Police said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the incident.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
