Mendocino, California (August 16, 2020) – One person was hospitalized with major injuries following a multi-vehicle collision that happened late Friday afternoon in Mendocino, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The multiple vehicles collided along Shoreline Highway, just past the Big River State Park, at around 5:35 p.m.
Shoreline Highway was shut down temporarily after a black Toyota Tundra, a gray Kia sedan and a third unspecified vehicle collided along the roadway for reasons still under investigation.

The wreck left one person with major injuries. The unidentified patient was then taken to an area hospital by medical personnel for further treatment.
