Mario Rodriguez ID’d as Person Killed in Phelan Car Crash on Sheep Creek Road near Sandstone Road
Phelan, California (September 7, 2020) – Mario Rodriguez, 30, of Bloomington, has been identified as the person who was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning in Phelan, police said.
The crash happened at about 6:32 a.m., on September 6, west of Sheep Creek Road and south of Sandstone Road.
According to the authorities, a car, driven by Rodriguez, was traveling northbound on Sheep Creek Road when it drifted off the roadway into a dirt field and flipped over several times.

Rodriguez, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
