Linden, California (January 4, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized after two cars collided early Monday morning in Linden, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to CHP, at around 3:46 a.m., two vehicles collided on westbound Highway 26 near Shelley Road.
As per the report, the traffic collision happened at a blind corner.
Authorities said the crash resulted in major injuries. A female occupant of one of the vehicles had chest pains, the report said.
An air ambulance and a ground ambulance responded to the scene and transported one patient each to the hospital.
Firefighters blocked traffic lanes for an unknown period following the accident.
CHP officers are investigating the crash.
