5 Children Injured, 2 Seriously in La Mesa Crash at Baltimore Drive and Aztec Drive

La Mesa, California (December 21, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Friday night traffic collision that left five children injured, two seriously in La Mesa.
The major injury accident transpired shortly after 11:00 p.m., on December 18, at the intersection of Baltimore Drive and Aztec Drive.
According to the police, a minivan, driven by an alleged drunken woman, was carrying five children when it crashed into a parked car at the intersection.
None of the children were reportedly in car seats.
5 Children Injured in Crash at Baltimore Drive and Aztec Drive
Two suffered serious injuries while the others sustained minor injuries. They were all transported to Rady Children’s Hospital for treatment.
The La Mesa Police arrested the female driver on suspicion of DUI and felony child endangerment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
