Joshua Leasure ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Interstate 5 Crash near Agra Road in Oceanside
Oceanside, California (February 1, 2021) – The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died mid of the last month in a traffic accident in Oceanside as Joshua Brandon Leasure, 20.
The deadly motorcycle crash occurred at around 4:02 p.m. Saturday, January 16, on Interstate 5, just north of Agra Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Leasure was riding his motorcycle northbound on Interstate 5 when, for unknown reasons, he crossed over the center median into the opposite lanes.
Leasure reportedly lost control of the motorcycle, which hit a fence post.

Leasure was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.
No further details about the crash were immediately provided.
The accident remains under investigation by the CHP- El Cajon.
