Jonathan Floyd ID’d as Victim In Highway 101 Crash in Greenfield

Greenfield, California (June 17, 2021) – Authorities have identified the person who died Wednesday afternoon following a traffic accident involving an RV near Greenfield as Jonathan Floyd, 49, of Beaverton, Oregon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident happened before 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, on Highway 101, just outside Greenfield.
CHP said a 71-year-old Sunnyvale man was driving a motorhome northbound on Highway 101 when, for unknown reasons, he allowed the RV to drift into the southbound lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming Toyota Highlander driven by Floyd.

Floyd was killed in the crash.
The RV driver was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that included a broken leg and internal bleeding. Two other patients had moderate injuries.
No further details regarding the crash were immediately provided.
The CHP- King City office is investigating to establish the cause of the collision.
