Jeff Kloiber Killed in 3-Vehicle Crash on Base Line Street in San Bernardino
Jeff Kloiber Identified as Person Killed in San Bernardino Car Accident on Base Line Street near 215 Freeway

San Bernardino, California (July 19, 2020) – The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has identified Jeff Wayne Kloiber, 52, of San Bernardino, as the victim who was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday morning in San Bernardino.
The crash transpired at about 12:53 a.m., on July 16, on Base Line Street near 215 Freeway.
A Honda Civic and Chevrolet Silverado were traveling westbound on the roadway and attempted to turn left onto the freeway when they collided with a Chevy Malibu that was headed eastbound on Base Line, the police said.
The Malibu, driven by Henry Alfred Duffy, 28, of Adelanto, allegedly drove through a red light, causing the accident.
Jeff Kloiber Dies after 3-Car Crash on Base Line Street in San Bernardino
Kloiber, who was the Honda driver, was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center. Kloiber was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver and a passenger who were in the Silverado were taken to a hospital in unknown condition.
Duffy fled the scene and later turned himself in at the San Bernardino police station. Duffy was arrested on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and hit-and-run causing injury or death.
The crash remains under investigation.
