Hawthorne Hit-And-Run Bicycle Collision at Doty and Rosecrans Avenues Sends 15-Year-Old Boy to Hospital
Hawthorne, California (October 6, 2020) – The Hawthorne police is investigating the cause of a Hawthorne major injury hit-and-run collision that seriously hurt a 15-year-old boy Friday morning.
The bicycle accident took place at Doty and Rosecrans avenues just before 7:30 a.m. on October 2.
A white four-door Toyota hit the boy while riding his bicycle north across Rosecrans Avenue in unclear circumstances.
The Toyota driver, who was heading eastbound on Rosecrans, did not stop after hitting the rider.

Meanwhile, the unidentified bicyclist was hospitalized with serious injuries sustained in the mishap.
