Gilroy Crash on Hollister Road near Bloomfield Avenue Injures 4
Gilroy, California (July 15, 2021) – Four people were injured following a two-vehicle collision Thursday morning in Gilroy.
The crash, involving a semi-truck and a white Tesla with four occupants, occurred on Hollister Road (Highway 25) near Bloomfield Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. on July 15.
The California Highway Patrol did not immediately establish how the two vehicles crashed head-on in the morning hours.
Gilroy 2-Vehicle Crash
As per the CHP dispatch, the Tesla operator sustained two fractured wrists following the collision.
Three other victims were also reportedly hurt in the accident. All patients were taken to an area hospital for medication.
No other person was injured in the mishap.
The accident remains under active investigation.
