Man Killed, Man Hospitalized after Fresno Crash at Shaw Avenue and Del Mar Avenue
Fresno, California (January 1, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Friday morning traffic accident that killed a man and left another injured in Fresno.
The accident happened just after 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Shaw Avenue and Del Mar Avenue.
According to the officials, a vehicle was traveling at an unknown rate of speed when it crashed into multiple items before crashing into a building at the intersection.
Fatal Traffic Collision at Shaw Avenue and Del Mar Avenue
Sadly the male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, also a man, was hospitalized with major injuries.
Investigators believe alcohol was a factor in the collision.
It was not clear if other vehicles were involved in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
