Ukiah, California (October 7, 2020) – Elizabeth Elliot Ambri, 33, of Redwood Valley, has been identified as the woman who was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle accident that left two other girls seriously hurt on Monday evening in Ukiah, authorities said.

The major injury crash transpired at about 5:55 p.m., on October 5, on Highway 20 near Pomo Way.

According to the CHP, a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup truck, driven by Joshua Franklin Murray, 39, of Lucerne, was traveling eastbound on Highway 20 when it failed to stop for traffic stopped of an earlier collision near Pomo Way and crashed into a 2018 Kia Soul driven by Ambri.

Following the Collision, the Kia was pushed into a Honda Accord, driven by Jacquine Snelson of Upper Lake. The Kia then continued into the westbound lane where it collided with a Ford Explorer, driven by Ladina Williams, 49, of Lucerne, the officials said.

Furthermore, the Honda also collided with a 2007 Chevrolet HHR, driven by Toni Gayle Conley, 61, of Upper Lake, following the impact with the Kia.

Ambri and her two passengers, a 3-year-old girl and a 6-year-old girl, sustained major injuries in the accident.

Ambriz was taken to Lake County hospital. The 3-year-old girl was flown to Oakland Children’s Hospital while the 6-year-old girl was flown to U.C. Davis.

Williams and her 1-year-old female passenger were hospitalized as a precaution.

Intoxication was not suspected of having played a role in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
