Corona, CA: 1 Severely Injured in Single-Car Crash on Highway 91 at Serfas Club Drive

Corona, California (January 4, 2021) – One person sustained severe injuries after being involved in a solo-car crash early Monday morning in Corona, the California Highway Patrol reported.

CHP said the crash happened at about 3:10 a.m. on Highway 91 at Serfas Club Drive.

Reportedly, a red sedan crashed into the right shoulder, then swerved and crashed into the center divider.

An occupant of the car sustained a laceration to the head, abrasions to the face, and lost consciousness. An ambulance was requested to the scene to offer medical aid to the victim.

Authorities said there were skid marks on the road at the scene, and parts of the vehicle were all over traffic lanes.

Authorities are collecting more information to establish the cause of the collision.
