Corona, CA: 1 Seriously Injured in Car Collision on Temescal Canyon Rd and Horsethief Canyon Rd

Corona, California (May 9, 2021) – One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries after a two-vehicle accident that happened Sunday evening in Corona, the California Highway Patrol said.
At around 7:55 p.m., the vehicles collided at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Horsethief Canyon Road.
A silver Ford F-250 pickup truck and a blue Toyota sedan collided, blocking the intersection.
A driver was pinned inside one of the vehicles. Firefighters responded to the scene to extricate the motorist.
One person who was losing and gaining consciousness was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center with major injuries.
The pickup truck acquired major front-end damage. Both vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
