2 Men Injured, 1 Seriously in Contra Costa County Crash on Vasco Road

Contra Costa County, California (January 15, 2021) – Two men were injured, one seriously in a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning in Contra Costa County, authorities said.:
The major injury accident happened at about 8:35 a.m., on January 13, on Vasco Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2006 Pontiac, driven by a 29-year-old man, was traveling on the roadway when it collided with a 2015 Ford F-150 operated by a 35-year-old man for undetermined reasons.
Following the collision, a firefighter with the Alameda County Fire Department pulled a badly-injured driver from a wrecked car, the officials said.
2 Injured in Crash on Vasco Road
The 29-year-old man was critically injured and was airlifted to John Muir hospital in Walnut Creek for treatment.
The 35-year-old man was hospitalized with minor injuries and pain.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
