Kid Critically Hurt in Clearlake Car Crash on Highway 20
Clearlake, California (August 9, 2019) – A child was seriously hurt in a traffic crash in the area of
Clearlake on Saturday morning, according to a report released by California Highway Patrol.
The crash, which was reported at around 4:28 a.m. August 10, occurred on highway 20.
As per the CHP report, a Ford F250 Super Duty truck went 15 feet off the roadway on an embankment for reasons still under investigation.

The child suffered severe injuries in the crash. It was unknown whether or not the child who was injured was inside the vehicle or a pedestrian in the area.
The victim was airlifted to a local hospital by paramedics who arrived at the scene shortly after the accident.
The CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
