Bolinas, CA: Motorcyclist Hospitalized after Crashing with Car on Highway 1
Rider Seriously Injured in Bolinas Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 at Bourne Trail Fire Road
Bolinas, California (August 23, 2020) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after colliding with a car Sunday morning on Highway 1, also known as Shoreline Highway, in Bolinas, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Authorities said at about 8:39 a.m., a Suzuki sports motorcycle collided with a black Subaru Outback at Bourne Trail Fire Road for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find the motorcycle in the southbound lane and the Subaru on the right-hand shoulder.
The motorcyclist was transported to John Muir Medical Center Walnut Creek for treatment of major injuries.
The motorcycle was towed away from the scene.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
