1 Injured in Benicia Car Crash on Interstate 680 near Marshview Road
Benicia, California (January 1, 2021) – One person was hospitalized with minor injuries after a car accident that happened Thursday afternoon in Benicia, the California Highway Patrol said.
According to the CHP report, an occupant of a Nissan Altima sustained minor injuries after the car collided with another at around 3:19 p.m. on northbound 680 Freeway, just north of Marshview Road.
The report did not mention how the two vehicles collided or factors that may have led to the crash.
Authorities said another car accident also happened at the same scene but resulted in property damage only.
A female party called authorities reporting that her red Ford Ranger was involved in one of the crashes, and the vehicle was damaged, but no occupant was hurt.
CHP is collecting more information about the collisions.
