Adan Salazar ID’d as 69-Year-Old Man Killed in Palm Springs Pedestrian Crash on Ramon Road near San Luis Rey Drive
Palm Springs, California (February 1, 2021) – Adan Martinez Salazar, 69, of Palm Springs, has been identified as the man who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday morning in Palm Springs, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s office.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 11:19 a.m., on January 29, on Ramon Road, west of San Luis Rey Drive.
According to the police, Salazar was crossing Ramon Road when an eastbound sedan struck him. He was not in a crosswalk at the time of the crash.

Sadly, Salazar was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
