Possible Injuries Sustained in Newhall Crash on 5 Freeway and 210 Freeway

Newhall, California (July 15, 2019) – Possible injuries were sustained after a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night in the area of Newhall, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, on southbound 5 Freeway, just north of 210 Freeway.
As per the CHP officials, three vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was dispatched to the scene to attend to the possibly injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking the lane including the HOV lane. The roadway was cleared as of 11:08 p.m.
No additional details concerning this crash were provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
