Camarillo, California (July 12, 2019) – 21-year-old Anthony Zaragosa of Oxnard was injured in a Thursday night traffic accident that left two people dead in the Oxnard Plains, according to the authorities.

The deadly crash was reported at about 7:54 p.m. July 11, at the intersection of Las Posas and Laguna roads south of Camarillo.

The CHP said a black Dodge Challenger was heading east on Laguna Road when it failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2009 Honda traveling north on Las Posas Road.

Anthony Zaragosa Injured in Deadly Oxnard Plains Car Crash 

Zaragosa was one of the three people riding in the Dodge. Zaragosa and one of the other occupants were taken to Los Robles Hospital with minor injuries. The third occupant declined medical treatment.

The two people riding in the Honda were both pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
